Hey guys i got a ka24de(twin cam) with a 5sp tranny and the whole change over for sale. im going sr so what ever i dont need it will come with the sale such as the motor with everything on it, 5sp transmission, driveshaft, ecu, wire harness, etc........the motor will be coming off a 1992 nissan 240sx and the motor still looks pretty clean, the motor only got about 120k miles on it and for a ka thats pretty good. the tranny feels pretty good doesn't grind or anything, since i have a daily driver i don't drive this car often but the last owner told me it overheats sometimes and just to put on the heater when it does and it will go back down and you can turn off the heater after that. i havn't check what wrong with it since i wasn't going to keep the motor and i didn't want to pay to get it check but i was driving it around a couple of times last week during the day and i didn't have to turn the heater on..... it can be easy as a thermostat or at the worst it can be the headgasket but you can check it/ replace it and it should be alot cheaper and easier since the motor is out already(i don't exactly know what is wrong with it but a little overheating is the only known problem with the motor everything else is in great working order and the motor is still pulling very strong).....oh and the motor runs very strong the last time i drove it like 2days ago runs stronger than my friends s14ka....im doing the swap on friday so you can come and check it out while its on the car before friday.(i just found out the swap was going to be done on friday today). it's still very cheap for a ka24de with the whole complete change over (the 5sp alone goes for $200). i will not part out cuz i don't have time i know i can make alot of money if i part out but i don't have the time or space for it. Oh and don't worry it will be professionally removed by a shop.
