RB Fs rb25det

City:Vancouver
State/Province:WA
Price:4,000 OBO
Item Description: I am trying to gauge interest and test the waters on my rb25det motor set due to the fact that I want to swap it out for a 1jz or 2jz. That is the only reason I want to sell it, for more power and a less common setup. Each cylinder's compression and leak-down tested within factory spec less than 2 months ago and for a serious buyer I would perform the test again and photograph the gauge after testing each cylinder. I bought the motor with 50k miles and put around 8,000 on it during freeway commutes, daily driving and one drift practice event. I replaced the timing belt and water pump on the motor before installing it on my car so those are two maintenance items you wont have to worry about. No grinds in the transmission at all. Here is a list of items that would come with the sale.

-motor
-transmission
-greddy timing belt- 120
-new OEM water pump- 100
-RB25 drive shaft- 300
-custom throttle cable bracket -50
-Top Hat RB25 mount kit (motor and trans mounts)- 250
-Circuit sports Oil catch can setup with stainless braided lines and AN fittings - 250
-thermostat replaced with a nismo unit at swap- 60
-q45 throttle body semi-polished-100
-greddy intake manifold powder-coated flat black (same as valve covers) - 1000
-turbo xs boost controller - 80
-hand made intercooler piping for a front mount intercooler setup w/ core (done by VIP performance)- 600
-tial 50mm BOV- 290
-all new hoses underneath intake manifold to ensure no coolant leaks- 50
-re-sealed oil pan during swap to insure no leaks
-injector harness was lengthened so it could be placed underneath the intake manifold for a cleaner look.
-Full oil cooler setup with sandwich plate and oil thermostat, used AN-push-to-loc fittings and hoses.-300
-spec stage 2+ clutch-500

As you can see there is a lot of money in aftermarket parts in this motor, this setup is a steal. Also the number "4,000" is OBO so remember I AM OPEN TO ANY OFFER. I am also willing to accept trades in the form of a 1jz or 2jz motor, or r154 transmission. Feel free to ask any question you may have by messaging me or by calling or texting 360-901-8055. Also if my asking price is met I may be able to help with the swap into another 240sx.

NOTE: This picture does not have the new catch can setup included, I will try to get a picture of it as soon as possible.

Not a bad price for a fixed up RB25. Timing belt and water pump are great reliability mods, q45 TB/Greddy IM are great, and already having IC piping is a nice touch.

What turbo elbow did you use? Stock one grinded down?

Yep, quite a good price if you factor in how much money all of those goodies cost. Grinded down? I did not have to modify my turbo elbow whatsoever. Its just the stock one.

Saw this car at a meet not too long ago. Very clean swap. If I wasnt balls deep in my SR swap I would have jumped on this.
