They did not clear my +32mm offset 18" wheels so they definitely will not clear 17" wheels.

FYI, Evos come stock with 17s so yes they fit over 17 inch wheels. 17s are the minimum though. Fitting them over a particular 17 or 18 inch wheel has more to do with SPOKE DESIGN than offset.
