FS: s13 s14 NRG Short Hub / D1 Spec Quick Release

For sale one NRG Short Steering wheel hub (part # SRK-140H). I bought this thinking that it would fit my car but it doesn’t work for HICAS equipped cars. I also have one D1 Spec quick release steering wheel system. Both of these items are in new condition. When I test fitted the quick release I didn’t like how close it put the steering wheel to me. I have longer than average arms Asking only $60 each shipped. If you are interested please email me at reggie.wynn@gmail.com

Does the NRG hub have the turn signal cancellation ring on the back? I believe the s13 and s14 are different in that respect...

The 2nd pic is the one that shows the back of the hub. Could it be that gold color ring? Also on the box right under the part number it says that it works for s13's and s14's.

the gold colored ring is for the s13 horn, the 2 gold pins are for s13 signal cancel. the nrg hub also has 3 holes molded into the back inside of the 2 gold pins (can't really see it in the pic). this is where the s14 blue signal cancel ring fits into. you can also ghetto rig the gold ring to work for s14 horn too, if you choose not to wire it in through the spiral cable pos. so the hub does work for both chassis.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass but based on the part number and the description on the box it says it will work on s13's and s14's. I know for a fact that it will work on a s13 non-HICAS equipped car.

The S14 airbag delete has a resistor that plugs into the airbag circuit.

The S13/S14 thing just means that they hub will WORK on your S14 because the splines are the same, but your airbag WON'T.
