AAC / FICD wiring question

Hello i have an red top sr20det in an s13. I am trying to clean up any unneccesary wirings in my engine bay. can anyone tell me what the blue with red tracer wire that goes to the AAC (aux air control) / FICD (fast idle control device) is used for? If you are looking at the intake manifold from the passenger fender it is the top left pin. I traced it back to a 6 pin connector that is un used. I would assume it would be fine to remove, i would just feel better knowing exactly what it is before removal. thank you
