new alternator,electrical problems?

so i recently did a ka24de swap, had to put a new alternator on because the other one was junk, now none of my electrical stuff works, like the seatbelt sliders, the tach and temp gauge, dash lights, tail lights, my headlights work and my fan works, they are on separate switches. i dont think the o2sensor is reading either and that is new. the horn doesn't work too. but i can start it run it for like 15 seconds till it dies. i read in a different post the alternator could have something to do with this. maybe its just nasty grounds?

Make sure the power stud on the alt isn't grounding out on anything. When i did my SR, mine was touching my power steering lines and grounded out causing my whole harness to burn up. Also check all your fuses. If it did ground out for any reason it could have blown a few.
