| Gas Guage Problem I recently did a KA24DE swap into my 89 Coupe, after filling up my tank with gas the gauge has gone past the full line completely and is touching the side of cluster on the inside of the cluster. Anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks. | |

Trader Rating: (29) | Which gauge cluster are you using? SOHC or DOHC? If SOHC, that could be your problem. You could always take out your cluster (leave it plugged in) and adjust the needle.

| I am using the DOHC cluster. And Ive tried adjusting it with the plastic cover off and it plugged in, it just goes back off the reading scale. | |

| m Rodiek ![]() | It doesnt matter if its SOHC or DOHC. Sounds like someone pulled the needle off and put it on wrong but either way your gauge is broken, find another cluster and swap the gauge itself
