240sx clutch problem... auto - 5 speed

okay, so i swapped over to 5speed about a year ago and have been too lazy up until now to figure out this problem i have. my clutch works perfectly fine, but when i push it in and it comes back up it doesn't come all the way back up. it stays down about an inch or two and then i have to pull it up the rest of the way with my toe. anyone know what this could be?

is there supposed to be a spring going from the top of the pedal arm to the pedal box to pull it out?

I actually just fixed that problem. It can be an old worn out clutch pedal where the spring has grinded down the hook on the pedal where it sits. Or it can the your worn out clutch master cylinder if it is not new. But make sure you try and bleed it right again before you replace anything, and check for leaks
