i dont think so.

as long as theyre both DE's.

i used a s13 starter on my s14 and it bolted up and worked perfectly

damn thats weird cause the starter we pulled out of my DE the cone part that goes into the tranny was more tapored that the new starter i had and the new starter wouldn't bolt up, and i am 100% that the new starter is a DE starter

Um no. RWD SR starters are all the same. FWD, not even close.

Sorry, forgot to add that in..only RWD SRs. Sentra SR starters dont work.
