Serious s13 wiring issue. Just looking for other opinions.

I've recently acquired another 240. A black 91 5-speed. I got the car with the dash, wiring harness, and intake diassembled. The known problem with the car is when you turn the key, the starter wire would burn up. I have a few ideas of what could be causing this, but was just wondering if I could get some other opinions on the issue. All input is appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time for anyone that tells me to search. I do appreciate that.

check to see if it is grounded somewhere
