Thumbs down Drift-elite

so i bought the cx racing radiator from him he said it was in working order.
the next week i install it and i find out it has no drain plug so i found one that fit it the hole so then install it put in brand new coolant then 30 min after the car starts to over heat. then i checked for leaks and there was none took the cap off noticed that the fluid was not moving so then i drained it replaced the was not moving so the car did the same and now with stock radiator it works.

well i sent him about 5 messages and he did not reply also in one of the messages he said it came with the drain plug but it did not. i used about 30$ of my own money and now i just want my money back
this thread is for Jonathan not the whole Drift-elite team

also what i did when i installed the rad a drained the old one removed it installed the cx one filled it. had no air bubbles put the cap on waited then it over heated

Sounds pretty clear to me. Filled aftermarket radiator twice and both times car over heated. put stock radiator back in and filled system, Probably the same way he filled it the first two times. However with the stock radiator it doesn't over heat anymore.
Sounds like a bad radiator with an interal blockage. Good luck trying to get that all taken care of.

I understand where you coming from but buying used stuff on the forums or almost anywhere there is a chance that the parts might be damage or not in perfect working condition. Get it pressure tested at a radiator shop.... i know what you trying to get at by stating that when you put the stock rad back on its cool but seems like you might have an air pocket in the system. Next time inspect the part(s) really good before buying them. Its wack how people acted on here when selling parts and cant be honest... I guess in your case he new the rad was not in good condition and didnt mention it to you. If he was an honest guy he would just return the money and reply to your pm's. Good luck bro
