When I thought about this, I realize I spent alot of money modifying my car and still not satisifed with it. I mostly wasted my money buying parts that I will evetually replace with better parts. So far, I went through three sets of wheels, two body kits and other parts that I didn't want anymore in the long run.

*sigh* let's just say that I could have had my engine swap already if I didn't put in my system!

hey, got some rims to hook up? it's almost impossible to find some good 114.3x4 bolt pattern w/ the +35mm offset the silvias are suppose to have...

I think for this message board that scale is too low, considerigna swap itself costs anywhere from 3K-15K (depending on if you buy one of those Tomei or JUN engines, cost a pretty penny).

I have spent $0.00 but lots of time. I dont have a car yet but I plan on buying a car for about 3k then getting an engine swap 5k-6k (a shop will do it). Then plenty of JUN products, body kits (3K, painted), Rims and suspension (3K) and plenty of other mods. and thats just for one car

If you are going to do an engine swap anyways, then why don't you just get a car with a blown motor for like $500. You can look on autotrader.com for one close to your mechanic and have it towed straight there. You'll save about $2500

I agree. I got mine fer the low, low price of $250 with a blown engine, lots of dents and other thangs wrong with it. So far I've spent about $4800 on it and look at it now. If yer gonna swap the engine anyway then I'd look fer one with a bad one and save sum bucks!

Dude! I voted a month ago, and I feel that I should be able to change my vote. I put less than $1k.
But... I have just spent a lot of $$$, and didn't include my $3000 system. I'm up to about $7.2K so far!
