Security system or Manual Swap?

Im torn and curious to see what you all think. Keep in mind that I'll have to have a shop do the swap and its going to take me a while to save for either of these. With that said, if you had a relatively stock auto S14 with would you first purchase an alarm system or go manual? This is a DD and I have no garage to keep my car in if that matters.

Thanks, I didn't see the option for it. I live in Florida and I'm not worried about someone breaking into the car and taking it. Its all about tow trucks down here. Probably everywhere.

Well a 5 speed is hard to install on a car that is stolen. I would want to protect my stuff before I spend money on it.

I sleep much better at night now that my car has an alarm. I say do that first, the peace of mind is priceless.

I must admit, I read it wrong. Thought you where saying a manual alarm, IE: Killswitch.

But I think going manual gives them more of a reason to steal your car. Look how many S-chassis' have been stolen and they're 95% standard/manuals?

Automatic for stealthy-ness. Heh.

^ You raise a great point as do all of you. I'll be getting a security system first. Now just have to research which.

Thanks a lot guy
