new forum vrs. old one?

How many people would enjoy it if they used their time constructivly and put back the forum how it use to be? YES or NO

i like the actual forum itself better now but.......
i liked it better before when you weren't here, so...

i dunno what to say, oh yeah.......thanks for the effort mark and others, functionality is far superior to what it was before if you ask me

Lets see, its now more pleasing on the eyes, search works correctly, its a hell of alot faster and probably won't break all the time like ikonboard did. Geez this place sucks now.

#3. If you have a comment to make about how the forum is now vs. how it used to be, then please back it up with useful information. Ikonboard sucked. We all knew that. This template is much nicer then Ikonboard as well. Search works, the forum is faster, more posting options, there's a billion great things about VB. Grin and bear it. This is an online community that we use to share and transfer information. Not to please anyone's eyes. Deal with it.

#3. don't lie. more posting options? search works? last time i checked, everything i searched for i found on Ikonboard. if you are going to bash Ikonboard that alot of people liked, you need to back it up instead of saying it sucked. alright, lets say you have a hair style that you are acustom to, and you like. but on day somebody makes you spike it and die it purple. like it? i bet not. thats why communication between moderators and members needs to be discused more often about changes.

I'm not a moderator. This forum is better then it used to be. Again, I'm gonna say this: We share information here. We use software that is beneficial for sharing information. We switch to more beneficial software when available. This is not about hairstyles and not about what three out of three thousand members think. Stop being hardheaded and immature. Did you read my last post to you... do you not get anything? Open your eyes and you might see how good this software is, and what capabilities it has. There are to many to list in just the addons that can be added to the forum, although for the major ones I will wait to upgrade to vB 3 since it has most of those hacks built in. Guess your going to have to get used to a new forum when that happens to, such a tough life you must have. Oh and have patience, im goddamn. I just took all this time to convert the forum and all you can do is complain about smiles? Give me time to add these things in stead of starting 4 topics about how much you dislike vB. Dont start another topic bashing vB and members, so consider this your first warning. Thanks!

well, i guess the only thing i can do without being jumped upon is apologize...but you never know, i might get scolded for doing that.
before i give my apology, i'ma state one thing. how do you get that i've been bashing members. i just returned the favor. equality, its a great thing.

but on the other hand, i apologize to west, i understand that ikonboard was getting out-dated. and with the addition of the new message icons, its not that bad. maybe i just got pissed for another adbrupt change. like i said, i'm on here everyday... and when you see that everything changed the next time you logged on, its a rush. its like walking into that place that you feel safe has been destroyed. i actually don't think you guys will understand. but i apologize to everyone.

If you were here everyday you would know that ikonboard crashed about once every month or two and the board would have to be brought back up from a back-up.

well, if it did, it must have been fixed quickly, or my log in times are lucky. i'm usually on here at 11:00 to 12:00 mon-fri, since i'm at school. and about 2:00 to 5:00 through the week, and on the weekends, i'm usually popping around 12. so, if it crashed it had to be before or in the middle of those times. but anywho. i apologized. so you guys can accept, or you can leave me hanging and don't. well, i'm out.

and CA is right, on ikon the search hardly worked (while i was here), and the forum crashed somewhat regularly.

I actually think it was on schedule to crash sometimes. I even would haeve deja vu about it, and then bam it would happen. Its yet to happen with vB, but I dont want to jinx anything.

I say Kudos to the people that put this site together because they have balls to get up and spend time to make this a better site. Unlike me, I'm just lazy. If I were in charge, you wouldn't get me to get up even if you set my crotch on fire. But anyways, GOOD JOB GUYS/GIRLS!!! It's faster and looks nice. Yes and no, I like the fact that the board moves a million times faster, but the avatars seem to have all but dissappeared and how do I get that damn thing to stop emailing me everytime I post a reply without having to go BACK and unsubscribe?
