do you have any idea what you are going to price them? and are you considering making them with the built in solid bushings previously sugested?

i would be down for one as well, although i would prefer if it didn't have "built-in solid bushings"

i've driven cars on the street with solid steering rack bushings, not something i would like to use on a daily basis

Ok guys I got the green light. I need someone to donate an old rack that I can send out to the engineering department.

Also can you guys confirm that the mounting for the s chassis racks is all the same, z32 should also be the same.

Let me know

Looks like they're the same unit. Z32 racks are also interchangable, and the Z32 racks have quicker ratio, but that's only because the locks were moved inward.

On with the S13/S14 manual racks! Let me know where to send this biotch.

wtf are you talking about? I run aluminum bushings on my rack and the steering column aluminum bushing too. No noise/harshness difference except that now it's SOLID and no slack. I run a 330mm steering wheel + reman HICAS rack 7.0 caster, power steering. Feels great, but could be better... hence my interest in this

So what's actually happening with this?

Luke's got a lot going down with his shop at the moment - I'm waiting for him to get in touch with me about sending my rack in for engineering purposes. As soon as they have the measurements/etc they need, he'll get rolling on taking orders and makin' racks.
