So i got an offer for 16,000 cash for my 240 i am building. it is a real offer too. should i take it.
I emailed the person that i would take 17, ooo as it is. that includes all the new suspension i got coming for it and everything.
I am not sure if the offer is for that car as it is. but the guy really wants it.
so should i sell.
i have 13, 000 in the car as it sits right now. so i would be gettign my money back plus 3,000

i didnt want to sell it at all so i threw out a huge number. 25 000 and sent him a list of mods i have on the car with the price that they cost.

and he said all he could get together was 16,000.

but if it is fake. then what ever you know. if it is reall i should take advantage of it.

you obviously havent sold a modded car before have you. you never tack on what you put into the car, if anything it decreases the vaule to a certain point. but hey like I said, rape him for all he wants to give you. I will give you +rep if you scan the bill of sale

if i ever got an offer of even 8k i'd sell it. regardless of the 13k you have invested, you usually never get that back. so if he's legit about 16, why not

^^^^ true what he is saying. I almost got scammed by someone like that. I was selling some recaro seats for $400 OBO and they offered me like freaken $400 on top of what i was selling them for. Anyway this person would only communicate w/ me by email only, would not talk to me by phone. This person was supposely in the UK and wanted to do some kinda of cashiers check or something like that. I surfed the web and bam! I was about to get fucked in the ass without vasaline lol. Its crazy cause when i found out i emailed this person back and told them to go fuck themselves.... after that they tried to scare me by saying that we had come to an agreevment w/ the sale and that now they had gotten a lawyer and they were going to take me to court. I continued to tell them to fuck off till finally they stop emailing me. It usually happens when you post a classified on craigslist. Be careful man if it sounds to good to be true chances are its not true. Never ever no matter what do a transaction over seas you'll get fucked.

there wouldnt be any shipping involved. i have delt with scammers before.
he wouldnt get the car until he returned from deployment. but i dont think i want to sell. I sent a deciding email though. see how he answers it to see if he is a scammer.
