I don't know if this is a repost...I searched before making this thread. But anyways....I just saw this documentary and MAN...it really got to me. I was never in favor towards Bush and I always had speculations in my mind...and now this documentary exposure much more than I was thinking. Alot of stuff makes sense...but way to much info to soak in at once...I have to watch it again. Right now I'm confused about the future of this nation...its seems like either way we go (demo or repub) we are in a mess and there are going to be some people sitting fat and happy no matter the outcome. I have more to say but I want to see the other views of people that have watched it.

i enjoyed it and although i am a democrat, the movie was really biased and one sided.

michael moore does have talent for making people look like idiots.

that movie is straight up propaganda. it displays the "Facts" as pure and true in a "well, you decide" attitude when in fact its VERY biased.

i don't necessarily agree with the president or his methods of dealing with things but marines respct the uniform NOT the man. funny, the same people pissing and moaning about this country's morals being in such a decline are the very same ones that hasten the degredation of our society.

I haven't even seen the movie but if it is like Bowling for Columbine than it is probably more propaganda than documentary.

One time I had diahrea REALLY bad so I had to shit in this dumpster in a gross alleyway! Suddenly, Michael Moore came along and ATE IT! It was the grossest thing I have ever seen!

Anyways, if this new movie is anything like his documentary about big businesses, I'll pass. Moore's very style and how he presents stuff really pisses me off for some reason.

P.S. - I'm no Bush fan, but MM just sucks.

i saw the movie and read the book "Dude Where's my Country"

I think they are both very interesting. He has plenty of sources for all his info if you believe it's not true. The way he presents himself was a little biased but so was "Passion of the Christ" His obvious bias makes the movie fun, but presents you with a good amount of info. I think you guys should really go see it, and if you dont like the way it is presented, at least you will probably learn something that you dont already know . Oprah for president!

LoL, oprah... I dono if i'll watch this movie because it's creator is a radical left-wing communist. Sure he puts out facts, but those arnt all of them. He only put the ones that make bush look bad, like most democrats do. Movies like these only twist and turn the real story. I dont know where this came from, but i remember my father telling me this : "The more you tell a lie, the more it becomes truth." Im not fully sure what this means, but i kinda get the point. All in all, i think it would be interesting to see what this movie shows. BTW, do you guys think this movie should be rated R?

Yes, because there are some graphic scenes....and its not movie magic....its all real. The scenes from Iraq kinda got to me...made me wonder "why?". I'm glad he didn't show the planes hitting the towers...the blacked out scene with the sounds was bad enough.

I did learn something that I didn't know before when I watched this. For example....now I know why my brother is watching an oil rig in Iran seas.

This movie is much better than Bowling for Columbine. Mostly because Moore himself keeps his fat ass out of it, for the most part, and instead just presents a bunch of videos and facts. He puts much less spin on it than on BFC.

And, yes, he does only present the stuff that makes Bush look bad, but that was the intent of the film. It's no different from the loads of Republican propaganda out there right now, which only exists to make the Democrats look bad. Look at how Fox News picks up on every little thing Kerry does, real or imagined, and plays it to no end. This is no different, just coming from the other side.
