I was just watching The Discovery Channel (Monster House/Garage). And saw a commercial for a Street Racig Documentary That is supposed to air Monday Feb. 9 at 9PM. I saw plenty a S13 in that commercail. Did anyone else see that?

no worries. They show tyhem iirc 8p, 9p and 10p, then again 11p, 12a, 1a. I know because i used to have school late on mondays, and now im usually out late working on the car. and they stay in order. So you can miss the first show, cath the last 2 in the normal times, adn then catch the replay of the first one right after the last show, if that makes sense.

Shows air at lets say... 9pm EST/PST. Meaing on east coast 9pm, show comes on. West coast, 9pm, show comes on. CST and MST are not included. They are either 1 hr or 2 behind the PST iirc. Hawaii is 2hrs ahead of PST on network TV, but concurrent with the PST schedule for Cable. Its REALLY weird. I took a class of videography back in the day and it was all explained. But that was 6 years ago 9th grade.

anyone wanna sell me a chea used vcr, doesnt' have to play tapes, I just need it to get cable! my shitty TV only gets like 10 channels without a vcr.

hmm, sometimes for these street raceing things they get soem huge retards taht are willing to get them selfs video taped, it be sweet if they did a under cover one, or at least with car people so they can filter out the retards.

The mtv street racing documentary that was on a couple years ago was stupid, but in a entertaining sort of way, so maybe this one will be too.

i used to work for a body kit company and i remember they sponsered some chicks car for the show... seems like its gonna be rice to me..

Does anyone else see whats wrong with commercializing street racing? I mean its illegal, you dont see shows about people doiing drugs and how they get thier money to buy it etc... Its just gonna bring more people into it and eventually collapse..

When I watch shows like that I get even more scared to drive every day...

On that note...the other day I saw the same car that almost hit me street racing at 100+++ over a year ago. Just brings back all kinds of memories, so a "big fuck" you to any "racers" on here who have ever had a close call with a non-racer.

[lol, i am a adult, well kinda, there are alot of older people than me around here, i dont think street racing ahs chnaged much other than it might be more organized with cell phones and shit. the guys i work with sometimes are like 60 and they talk about racing muscle cars in the parks in appleton, and a couple places in eau claire and milwaukee, it used to be who could get the fastest lap in the park, and drag in park's lot.

might as well take it to the track and really enjoy it as far as I'm concerned.

i believe that the show is gonna be like a monster garage competition. 1 team to build a gsx eclipse and another team to build a civic. this will be to race in an 1/8 mile race. Lanny Higa is one of the mechanics for the honda.

Yeah, I saw that and laughed pretty hard. So much for the research put into this show. Yeah, inside the Apex'i shop there was a bad ass white r34, a s15 and a 350z. The entire time they were working on the pos civic all I could think was "Please...please, just show/talk about the cars behind you!"
