I had been looking for this thread. It seemed to just disappear.

Why hasn't lotus won yet? I think they deserve to win atleast 1. And pretty sure Alonso is walking away with the drivers title.

Lotus has poor qualifying pace; they are too easy on their tires and can't get enough heat into them for a flying lap.

Grosjean would have most likely won Valencia had his car not experienced alternator issues which caused him to drop out of the race.

This weekend track temps were high which allowed both Lotus' to have net a fast lap and qualify high up the grid.

The Hungaroring is notorious for being hard to pass (hence Button stuck behind Senna) so Raikkonen not being able to pass Lewis.

So, McLaren topped the time sheets. Lets see how they end up in Q3; if they both manage to make it into Q3.

RBR doesn't seem to have pace, and Ferrari is still a ways off.

This race is McLarens to lose.

Japan was a pretty boring race, besides the fact that it got Grosjeaned again. Congrats to Kamui on that podium.

Maybe if McLaren wasn't dropping the ball so much, Lewis would have had a tougher decision to leave.

Lewis would easily be leading the championship if it wasn't for such stupid pit/strategy errors on the teams behalf.

Speed is nothing without reliability and consistency.

And this is still relevant to Japan

I think hamsters move came down to money and long term career plans. He wants to become the face of mercedes benz.

alonso and grosjean really screewed me in my fantasy league this race...

Hamilton has been robbed on nurmous times, some fault of others, his team, or even him. He would have had 2 championships no doubt, his first one if he didnt run off in the pits in China. And would have been leading this one too. I am dissapointed he is going to Mercedes, but he said in an interview for sky sports (or BBC, i dont remember), how he would like to take the challenge of winning with a non-top car.

I find that interesting. Because he is thinking of the long term dream of having a car that is eventually fast.

But Hamilton is also competitive and he gets extremely pissy at his current car whenever it is slow; The McLaren still has much more pace than the Mercedes'. lol
