Funny enough I can see that happening if they can't get Steve Nash or who knows maybe they go for both those guys. I guess it all depends on how they finish. If they win a championship Rio and Cole stay on, if they don't than it can happen. In all honesty I would love to see Nash in Miami, I'm not too sure how much Kidd can do in his advanced age.

Kidd can still distribute the ball...thats all you need him to do. Find the open man, control his TO and make a shot once in a while.

I dont see Nash going anywhere. Think he'd retire first before he leave Phoenix.

Kidd can distribute the ball, has the best court vision of any PG in the league right now and can rebound well for his position.
What he CAN'T do at his age is run with these youngbucks or defend his position unassisted.

New York Knicks' Baron Davis out a year with severe knee injury - NBA News | FOX Sports on MSN

Best PG in the league out for a year now, looks like he is not getting a new contract with the Knicks this offseason.
At his age and with his very apparent conditioning habits, this could be the ultimate sendoff in his first-ballot Hall of Fame career.

These west coast games are killing me (and my sleep). How do you let CP3 take all the shots when he's playing with martin, evans, foye, and broken hand caron in the game? Unreal.

Hollins as greatly disappointed me in this series. Pop will not make the same mistake. I guarantee he doubles there.

Oh and TOO MANY FLOPS!!!

OT in the clipper game was loltastic. CP went to the same 3 foot circle almost 4 times in a row. 3 jump shots, one layup, and Memphis just let him do it, over and over. i facepalmed so hard after he hit the 3rd in a row. CP3 has ball, comes off screen, goes right, stops at top corner of key, jumpshot. lol.

Oh stahp it, the Heat will no be getting any more stars. 1. They would have to sign for the league minimum, which if I'm no mistaken you can not exceed the cap in the new CBA with it anymore. 2. We're gonna hit the cap soon. 3. Nash will go to Dallas. 4. The Knicks are in a worse financial situation having already wasted their waiver.

FIXED...I was gonna go to bed by the time the 4th quarter started. Figured, 15 pts down, no way in hell they'll come back and Lakers were shooting like poop all night long.

Good thing I stayed up... game turned into a nail biter by the last minute.

Anyways, I always thought Andre Miller has been one of the most underated PG in the league. Think Billups before he got to Detroit. If only he's played for good teams, he might have been an all-star.

Bynum needs to shut the fuck next time. Don't talk smack and then play limp dick...

i agree. Nash says he will consider Miami, but i don't think he'll be a great fit there since wade/lbj tend to dominate the ball, but know how to create for themselves and others (melo needs to learn how to do this). plus, it's working out great for them this season that way already.

yes, Nash could help Miami, but i think his talents will be wasted there when he could be doing so much more for another team that could really use him. he has a good consistent jumper and 3pt range, but i don't think miami really needs him to take complete control of/run the offense. what they need is someone who can stop Rondo and other great PGs of the league and Nash cannot do that.

imo, andre miller has always been a unique PG, but good PG. he keeps his fg% high since he usually takes it to the hoop and rarely takes jump shots, but he has great court vision and passing with pretty good size. he also never really shoots 3s (not sure if he has that range), which is something you probably want from that position but you can't complain with the other things he does right. i guess the best way to describe him is that he plays to his strengths. why take jumpers when you can't hit them?

George Karl loves him. he was at his best in denver before he got traded to philly. my friend was expecting him to blow up that year so he drafted him 4th round and he got a pg who put up 9 assist.

i don't think Phil wants to deal with that collection of players. plus, he only goes to teams built with a great core and has a good chance of winning a few titles (like Miami, OKC, or Chicago)

i don't see too many options for Nash or teams that need a PG AND play to his style. i would guess dallas (if they don't get deron and solely relied on Nash for playmaking and shooting) or new york (but starting lin makes them so much more money). maybe orlando, but d12 is going to bolt anyways.

all other teams are lottery teams or teams that aren't going to win a title by simply adding nash (indianna, utah, and portland).

Dallas seems to be the popular (and best choice) for quick intergration so far.

Nash has the chops to pretty much CHOOSE what contender he lands on, with the only variable stopping him being how much money that team will have to spend on him.
That pretty much strikes NY and Miami off the list. Not that he would be THAT great in either location, as he would have a hard time running with the Heat's Big Two and is not much of an on-ball defender himself.

As far as Orlando?
They've apparently gotten weary of Dwight Howard's dog and pony show and will likely shift him over the summer if he does not extend.

However, I am fully of the opinion that IF Dwight Stays, then Stan Van Ron Jeremy is a goner.

I love Nash, he has become one of the best Suns players ever, but he does have limitations. The big one is defense. I am not saying he doesn't try, but he is really flat footed. He isn't the quickest, the thing that gets him to the bucket is that people guarding him have to think "will he shoot, will he pass, what the fuck is he doing...what the fuck!"

But for him to fit into a system, the team has to be lacking a good leading PG. I could see it kind of work in Miami. I mean, he could take care of the ball, give them a solid 3rd option for taking a last shot or making something out of nothing. Spread the floor a lot more with Wade and James on the wings and Bosh roaming around. But then again, you have 4 stars in the line up...

NY, no way. I just don't see it happening there. OKC, no, they are already good and have a great young PG. Might not be as gifted in the assists, but he is great none the less. Dallas, already old and slow and Nash wouldn't do anything for their issues. San Antonio....please god no. Lakers? Maybe...but again, please god no. Maybe Chicago? But you would have to take the ball out of Rose's hand and Rose is a good decision maker.

I see him staying in Az, unless something big happens. But I wish Nash and Hill could both get rings.

It's totally true. That game had an ABSURD amount of flopping in it! I swear it was like every other play, CP3 or Blake Griffin were either on the ground or bitching about someone hitting them.....or both. SUCH BULL SHIT and so annoying to watch. Be a man and play the game. Seriously, wtf......

Never mind the flopping or anything else, we should all be collectively pleased that the Knickerbockers are now gone fishin' and that Brolosun can go be angry elsewhere

It is not so much as rivalry, it's the fact the lakers are gay and SA was a crux to us in the past.
