Out of the blue my boss says yo this new trailer for Batman just came out and our entire office huddles to the conference room to watch it LOL.

So awesome, and I usually don't get excited over movies. I think the last time I was this hyped for a film was Star Wars Episode I, got burned on that one.

plot is 8years after whole joker/2face thing, apparently its a worn out batman, tired of running.

i feel alot better about catwoman now after watching this trailer

Well, If you're vaguely familiar with the comic you know Bane certainly closed a chapter on Bruce Wayne's life, for sure. Lets just say, Bat's is probably gonna need somebody to fill in for him.

Commissioner Gordon's daughter was Bat-Girl in the comics. In the movies, she should be old enough to help out. In the movies, Gordon's son also had some cryptic and foreboding short scenes too. I don't see them donning the cowl in the movie though. I really don't see them introducing Azrael in the movie either. I wonder how they're gonna handle this.

so,. one of my buddies had a pretty crazy idea.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays John Blake, some super secret badass detective who wants to be worlds best...... or something.

now,. theres a Tim Drake, in the comic book series that fits that description to the tee. Obsessed with batman and robin because they held the 'best detective' cards i guess you could say.

He ended up being 'Red Robin' when robin died. Not a great fighter, but his other skills more than made up for it.

Honestly, Hathaway looks like she's going to be ace as catwoman.

The only thing I'm not really that excited about is Bane himself, I just don't know what to expect from the villain, and I know I'm going to be measuring him up against the Joker and if he isn't as good, I won't think the movie is as good.

I dunno, man. Just based on that trailer, Bane seems to be one upping the Joker on mayhem. I mean, blowing up a football field beats blowing up an empty hospital because witnesses everywhere will see Bane's strike televised. On top of that, releasing all those criminals to overwork/soften up both Batman and law enforcement? Good idea.

Traditionally, Bane is every bit as criminally genius as Joker, except he's more focused. On top of that, he can actually fight. Heath was a phenomenal Joker but we all know that his death had a lot to do with that portrayal ascending to legendary status. I'm confident Tom Hardy is equal to the task.

That is a good theory. Someone is obviously gonna need to support/help/replace Bruce. We just gotta find out who it is. Maybe this John Blake character is supposed to be a fusion of both the Tim Drake Robin and the Azrael characters...

Without a shadow of a doubt John Blake is Nolan's version of Robin, even though he may not end up being called Robin.

Marion Cotillard is Talia Al Ghul.

And for you naysayers out there, Henri Ducard ended up being the real Ra's Al Ghul, so hah!

Ever since Marion Cotillard was announced as a member of the cast for this upcoming Christopher Nolan directed sequel, fans have speculated that the actress will be playing Talia al Ghul, daughter of Ra's al Ghul. Even after it was revealed that she will be playing Wayne Enterprises executive Miranda Tate, these rumors continue to persist.

Whether Marion Cotillard is actually Talia al Ghul in disguise has yet to be determined. But it has now been confirmed that an 8-year-old version of this villainous character will be making an appearance in the film.

I guess part of it is that I'm not all that familiar with Bane. My only exposure to Batman has been the live action movies and some of the WB animated series.

My only exposure to Bane has been the awful "Batman & Robin" version.

Bane is probably my favorite Batman villain.

-As smart/smarter than Batman
-Physically stronger, and broke Batman's back.

Even his story is awesome.

After Bruce refuses to be Ra's' chosen successor, Bane takes his place. Bane is basically what Bruce would have been if he'd stayed with Ra's.
