what do you guys think so far... for those who watch the sony E3 coverage.

price $249 wifi $299 3g/wifi

most powerful handheld so far and a massive 1st & 3rd party support.

4 core cpu
OLED touchscreen+ rear touchpad
six axis motion
dual analog, direction & bunch of buttons.
F&r camera
you can play with ps3 or vita players.

buy or pass? on your wish list?

why must everything go through AT&T/future T-Mobile 3G? i'm surprised since it's supposed to be the bomb diggity, why they didn't opt for 4G instead...that being said, i'd be satisfied with just the wifi version IF i were to get one.

yeah, for that much tech. ppl were thinking it was going to be on the 400-500 price range.

i'd llike see more of the 3rd party titles. sony only showed a little.

I'm not in the market for one, but it's very impressive hardware for the price.

If they can make a handheld with such specs, I can only imagine what PS4 has in store.

GSM is easier to adopt when you want a product like this to be global. 4G would be nice, but I doubt the battery life would be.

Since it's on AT&T, I'll pass. Plus I hardly have time to play video games when I'm home, let a lone on the go. I wouldn't drop console money on a handheld.

QFT. I have a PSP and it's cool when i go on roadtrips or when im taking a fat dump. but I'd much rather play a console on a big screen then play on a portable. I rarely have time to game when im not at home anyways. It still looks cool thought bu i think il pass.

What am I supposed to do with 6 axis video conferencing that only talks to other shit talking 12 year olds who parents bought the same $300 wonder box? I could see it's application if I was a congressman but not sure what else. i think it's cool and a neat piece of tech for people who "really like" video games. I'm just not $300 into video games that much any more.

if you're looking the next powerful handheld gaming, vita is a beast. you dont have to buy the 3g its just a option.

Im happy with the games on my iphone (which is usually just suduku).
even if this was free I wouldn't want to lug around another piece of hardware.

I lost the desire to want any portables. I got my iphone for games on the go. I'm more of a casual gamer nowadays anyways. I play games when I have too much time and when I'm sitting down doing nothing. Just need it now to kill some time.

Sony has not said that. They said they are in no hurry to release PS4.

And the original rumor was that "someone" wouldn't join the next gen of consoles, and that was just some analyst's opinion.

I lost interest in handhelds after someone stole my Nintendo DS.

I also think that there is no need for 3g to be on handheld devices. I mean if you are out and about in places that don't have wifi, chances are you have better things to be doing.

Besides those reasons they said all along that they had a 10 year life cycle planned for PS3. Even if they launch in 2013 it's a few years AHEAD of what they were planning.

My friend brought back one from Japan over Christmas...He asked if I wanted one but I'll wait till they start releasing them in different colours (Yeah I'm like that).

Anyways, you guys are in for a real treat! I played BlazBlue, MVC3 and Uncharted. They ALL looked freakin AMAZING! It's like a mini PS3 and the screen is to die for (You'll see once you get to use one).

The system is a bit big but it's comfortable in your hands...

Even though games on smartphones generally suck (I usually only play old PSX or GBA games on my phone with an emulator), I don't want to carry another device with me just to play games.
