none, just bare/reflector. outside of black cars you can almost always get colors in paint to pop more with just bare/hard light.

The photos on this page are all over the place. Some are single exposure, some multi. Some were lit with just a reflector some with a combo of grids/softboxes/other.

got a question for you guys.
some of the photos, before i edited them, came out like washed out, like the colors were fluorescent almost, mostly the whites and reds. was this because the sun was too bright? im assuming i had incorrect settings, i was shooting in TV mode with continuous shooting.

first time using a "pro" camera at a drift event, ill show what i got. please critique and tell me what i'm doing wrong. the camera is a pentax ist ds.

i did some random instagram type editing.
i can post up pics with no edit either if it helps with the critiquing.

i got a ton more, but they're more or less the same. thanks in advance.

Your white balance needs to be fixed. You probably have it set to florescent. Set it to auto, and shoot in RAW.

just starting, try to teach people to avoid the computer, try and get it as close as possible in camera so they learn what they are doing

Doing a shoot for Cruisers Yachts Wed, thur, Fri this week. Hopefully we impress them (we will) and we get the big job then in a few weeks which will be 7 days.

Shoot went great. Art director was happy with the outcome. Helicopter shots, boat to boat, lifestyle shots with talent, etc etc. I'll post what we came up with once the campaign is done. Can't complain spending a couple of days aboard a $800k 45' prototype yacht. Even if the second day was 15 hours.

That's awesome! I was just bidding on a job for a large boat/yacht company which could have been cool since its so far outside my normal client base but unforchantly did end up getting it.

Had an awesome Saturday at Virginia International Raceway shooting the American Le Mans Series race as well as the GT2 and USF2000 races, this was my first time shooting cars in motion so I wanted to catch the cars crisp against a blurred background to show speed.
