Decided I wanted to get back into RC drifting now that there are people near me that actually do it as well. I picked up a cheap TT-01D and just finished the body tonight. It was horribly done, but I don't care, it's just a beater for now.

So far I've just done a ESC and metal servo and locked the rear diff. Might do the front and see how it handles.

front one-way, NOT locked. it'll have too much understeer. and no turn-in... you'll really have to over work the car, and weight transfer it to get it to initiate the drift.

got some new pics from "inside the garage".

Just finished up my HPI Ae86 body. Painted it with Pactra Metallic Burgundy, and coated that with a silver backing. Then just used a carbon sheet to make the hood. I think it turned out pretty good for being my first body. Excuse the shitty cell phone pics.

heres a link for ya!! =) Search Results : Genki DoriDori, - RC Drift Goods

mine are 9mm and 6mm offsets, they are for my silvia body. i need demon camber to tuck them under the chaser...

xoxide- s14 body looks sick on the cr kai kiwami!! what color is it??

z33dori- you will be very happy with it if you decide to get one. or any of the higher end chassis for that matter.

Jimmy, the color is Auto-Air Sparklecent Nightmare Blue. Its a beautiful color in person, a little darker than in the pics and very mettalic-ey.

I am too scared to run these Overdose CR Kai's, they are too sexy. ive got some Yokomo Wedsports SA-70s to run to.

Still have quiet a bit to do, still finishing the cage, have to wire the led's for lights, paint the ganador mirrors, build the spoiler, and some other stuff like that. Going to replicate my kouki.

Here are some pics of my old TT-01 with a Yokomo Onevia body on it... I have one of these bodies on order to replicate my coupe... cant find the rest of the pics, but this was painted on the outside with Tamiya Mica Blue over a black basecoat.

Used to really like RC Rally as a kid. Running after the cars is also a good workout.

matej- that does wear you out chasing after them, i have a rally converted Associated TC3, but the tires that came with it are now slicks. i got that conversion like 6 years ago... then i got into drifting after that. =) used to chase it around my yard when the grass was cut short.

xoxide- bodies look dope!! nice job and cant wait to see the cage!! if you dont have light buckets or want different ones for your s14, check these out...

^Alot of people use kitchen straws. I like to use styrene tubing and styrene sheets for rollcage and custom body parts. You can get it at pretty much any hobby shop

I used kitchen straws before, got beat up and paint flakes. I just went to a arts and crafts store and picked up some round wooden sticks

Some from last night at the track
