good urban exploration forums?

I know some of you guys like UE. I would like to get into UE. I was pretty much born and raised in an old run-down, but still functional, rubber factory. My mom brought me to work and we pretty much lived there.

Got any good UE forums to get started?

I'm especially into factories. Brings me back to my days when I was roaming the rubber factory.

Looked up local urban exploring websites a couple years ago. Found some really cool stuff. Like a water tunnel that runs under the city and still has boats in it, and an old subway station from like the 1920's in which the old school style light bulbs still work when you turn them on. It was super creepy.

I've wanted to do some of this too. There's a building about a half mile from me (not very big) that looks like an old school or church or something. It's been boarded up as long as I can remember. I drive past it almost every day and it drives me crazy not knowing whats inside or what the building was.

I know there are a lot of places in Milwaukee to explore. I stumbled on one once during a photo shoot. I wasn't prepared to go into the building though.

I have friends in government and the construction industry so usually when I want to see the inside of a building, I just have one of them give the owner a call and most of the time I will get permission to go in.

I guess it takes some of the fun out of trespassing but that's how I would prefer to do it.

i know you PM'd me already, but i cant think of the one bigger forum that they used to have. i was never on it, but i heard about it. just do some google searches, you're bound to come up with something [relatively] local to you.

Speaking of this Dane. It's looking pretty good for me coming to Detroit this year. Hopefully we can get together and you can show me some cool places.
