K-20 - hero type of movie, pretty cool.
Black Kiss - thriller
Crows Zero 1 and 2 - based on manga also, this one is about gangs at different schools.
20th Century Boys - based on a manga, has 2 movie's out so far and I believe there's one more in the making.
Detroit Metal City - Funny as hell
GO! - About a half Japanese/Korean dude.
The longest night in Shanghai - About a Japanese guy lost in China, meets a taxi driver that doesn't speak Japanese.
Cyborg She - This is pretty funny/sad with action in it.
Handsome Suit - Funny as HELL
Sweet Rain - has a nice twist to it, about a death god, something similar to death note in a way.
Suspect X - about a killer, some what of a mystery type of movie I guess.
Nana 1 and 2 - Based off of manga/anime, Part 1 was the only one I liked, after that 2 was just retarded.

Most of these titles you can wiki them if you want more info on them.

And for Shinobi, you got to watch that on blu-ray man.

I like watching some of the Japanese 'shock' cinema occasionally.
most of it is crappy but some throughly entertaining.

Watched 'Tokyo Gore Police' earlier this year from same maker as 'Machine Girl'.

Big Man Japan (mockumentary) wasn't bad either, albeit a little slow at times.

Audition - freaky shit
Battle Royale (I'll repeat even though it's been mentioned already)
Old Boy - Korean revenge flick (I recommend the rest of the Revenge Thrilogy aswell)

Shinjuku incident - jackie chan's new movie based on the mass chinese immigration during the 90's in japan. its pretty good but dont expect a normal jackie chan movie though. good none the less

I must recommened a movie called "Bullet in the Head". It was a good movie as I remember it. Don't remember if it was Japanese though, it may have been Chinese.
