word on the street is 11/14 walmart will have the wii for $99 + $100 GC for $199.

Even rumors the PS3 will come at some point.

I already unloaded my GC so I got my xbox for $99. Debating on just selling it on CL as I still rocking my hacked PS2, snes, and nes. I will probably move on to the xbox 360 when they are free. lol

Yeah, Walmart is going to start having sales called "Secret Saturdays" every saturday from now til Christmas... Or longer.

For the record, you CANNOT use the $100 gift card in the same purchase of the XBOX/Wii/whatever.

My receipt say $99 xbox and $100 GC. Sold GC and going to sell xbox. Profit!!

xbox deal is long gone though, I knew it wasn't going to last hence the "run" in the title on the 7th. Just getting you guys ready for the wii deal.

If your console is having trouble reading discs, all you need is a $10 laser from ebay. Find out which drive you have, then purchase a replacement laser for $15 shipped. There are several tutorials on replacing it. It is very easy to do. About to change mine for the 2nd time in 2 years.

Fucking 'open tray' pisses me off.

it has no problem reading legit copies. it gives me shitty playback on copies.
but i might try replacing the laser assembly anyway, i had it out yesterday for cleaning and it looked like it had some imperfections.

It is from your laser wearing out. There is also a pot tweak that is supposed to help with reading copies, but will burn the laser out much faster.
