...create a TV show, what would it be about?

I was thinking about this the 36 hours I didn't sleep just now watching TV all night and they litterally have a TV show for almost every profession. And new ones are coming out everyday. ER for medical, COPS for well...cops, I just saw a preview for some firemen doing "more than just fighting fire" going to come out soon.

I would make a show about a guy who owns a gun but owns a beauty salon. Then he's married to a women whose an officer and she thinks that every person is a criminal if they have seaman on them, which ends up making her draw paintings eventually leading to her analysis of human creation for a children's literature.

Probably reviews and/or exhibitions of local non-corporate art.
music, food, photogrpahy, and the such.

give smaller artists an additional means of exposure,
and locals an additional outlet to discover what your city has to offer.

I rather it be a website with podcasts and forums, rather than some TV show.
it would cut down on overhead and allow for much more flexibility.
TV is a terribly outdated (if not also depressing) medium imo.

i wanna see a show about things to do that are free or low cost. Kinda like those travel channels things except with things that are available to everyone or in that area. Like most of us are bored most days of the week but what about a show that revolves about recent or upcoming events that u can do. One thing would be like check out flea markets or check out this place and try this thing out or maybe a concert or a sick ass exhibit at a museum.

I think that is an excellent idea! It would certainly provide some ideas for us folks with some extra time. If I might add they should check out local restaurants for good deals/food or must go places in the city

I don't think this show would sell really, unless they did extraordinary flea markets, or really nice, well know museums. Average doesn't cut it on TV.

Besides reality and peoples obsesion with celebrity.........

The CSI/Detective/mystery genre is fading.
we are seeing less csi/shield and all that shit.

We are seeing more interesting things on HBO and showtime like
United States of Tara. multiple personality disorder wife with hubby and kids.
pushing daisies. has ability to raise the dead for 1 minute
and other shit like that.
also V. aliens, AND end of times type feel
plus you have the twilight, live forever thing.

people are into stuff thats not so based in reality right now.
reality tv is going out.
and people want to forget the hard times right now.
plus you have the 2012 thing coming.

so something a little sci-fi, little apocaliptic.
but it needs to be a normal everydauy person its happening to, so people can fantasies themselves into that character.

thats all i got for now.
Im no writer or producer.
you just need to recognize societies trends and where they are going and cater to them.

I remember there was show on breast implants and it actually showed the boobs. I used to watch it when I was like 14-15 years old it was like my access to porn without my parents knowing. I think it was on MTV... they should bring that back haha
