Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2009

Post up the ads when you come across'em. I'm looking for some deals.

I've actually never went out of my way to buy anything during these days but this year we've decided to buy a couple TV's. I'm looking for a decent 40" for the living room and a 19" for the bedroom.

I think I'm in the market for a new prebuilt PC.

probably an HP of some kind. Give me a heads up if you all see one in the 5-600 price range.

If I can find a decent HP desktop with 4GB ram, and like 500GB HD, 19" monitor, W7 for $300 I might pick one up too.

Be careful with the Black Friday ads cause sometimes people photoshop them and put bullshit deals on them. Make sure you get them from a reliable source. Just wanted to give my fellow Zilvians a heads up.

I just want memory for my computer to be cheap again. I can't believe it jumped from $40 to $80 in almost a year. :|

I'm not going to any stores on Black Friday, it's pure madness. I actually waited outside a Best Buy one time and was layered up too stay warm....man it was a sauna when I finally got in and I almost felt like punching someone lol

I wish blk friday transactions would be just dealt with via their website.
So pointless to have to do the camping outside ordeal.

I agree. If they would just offer it online and not have to deal with the BS they'd sell so much more.

I wonder how many people will die this year after being trampled to death.

Actually, the consensus on slickdeals is that you get better deals throughout the year if you pay attention, and most online retailers (Amazon, NewEgg, etc) put deals online so its best to not go deal with the mess of the stores and just buy online.
