Some consoles I'd rather emulate, and others I'd rather play original.

If I'm going to play NES/Famicom, I'd much rather use the real gear. Nothing will ever be better than the "dogbone" controller.

N64 is MUCH better emulated. I have an adaptor so I can use real N64 controllers and peripherals via USB, and I can play Mario 64 in 1600x1200 at 60fps, or I can play Zelda:OOT with high-res or cel-shaded textures. N64 emulation is amazing.

I'm going to spend some time with a couple PC Engine/CD shooters this winter:

I need to get a copy of this:

Preferably the MVS version, as AES carts are stupid spendy.

And I need to add these to the PS1 collection:

I bet Vanguard Bandits is going to cost me, but it's one of the last 2 or 3 PS1 RPG's that I don't own, and I've always wanted to play it.

My birthday is in about a month. If anyone really loves me, just find me one of these. I'll pay for it, just fine me one. Elemental Gearbolt "Assassin's Case" edition. I think there are about 5 of them in existence:
