Especially when they have tire smoke ( cotton balls) on the rear wheels of the fwd civic.

Just a side note
I personally new that chick hes accused of killing, i went to highs chool with her here in santa cruz and she used to be a bagger at a grocery store around the corner from my house.
I tripped out a while ago because she was in a HIN up here, actually if you look through old issues of super street you can see pics of her. I think he was and alpine model when they did that crazy underwaterish looking civic and painted their models all blue to match.
she also was on those late night hotline commercials.
this is all unrelated random info, i just trip out on how small the world is.

personally i don't care for it, but then again I don't really see the harm.
I think it's good, because it does attract more would be car enthusiasts, who might not be interested otherwise.
some of which may eventually support the performance aftermarket, driving events, & other related car stuff.

speaking for myself, there was a time in my life where I was primarily interested in modding the looks of a car & knew nothing about driving events and such.
now, I have a banged-up looking stock car that I just autoX & hpde's and nothing else.
I just see the show-car scene as process to attract ppl into playing with cars.
It is tacky, but if creates more enthusiasts willing to spend $$$, then that can't be bad for the industry in general.
