got referee and also my subframe was getting loose already
already took out the sr ,am rebuilding with eagle rods and je pistons

you still gotta pay for that referee ticket.. what was wrong with your subframe? everything is replaceable except the mount studs or whatever.

Lol, CARB (CA Air Review Board) Referee ticket, means he's gotta take it to some gov't folks to double-check that everything's stock, and passes smog. It's difficult to get a 15+yr old car to pass when everything's bone stock, much less if you have an engine swap.

The OP is hoping that by selling the car and showing up to court with proof, the judge will have leniency and not make him pay the ~$400 fine for "modified emissions".
