Anyone here own an Xterra?

Looking into buying one of these bad boys here and my main concern was if it is capable of towing a car? It will most likely be an 03 or an 04 6 cylinder of course. I have heard that is capable of towing but then someone had told me their shit over heated towing some sea doos. Set me straight.

buddy has one, seems like he said for small light cars its ok, but for a regular sized car probably like our 240s it sucks balls. and he has a v6 5spd. i dont think hes had any overheating problems but he gets real shitty gas mileage when towing and regular isnt that great either.

I bought one new in '03 I didnt mind it at all, felt a little low on power. Otherwise I had zero problems with it.

Get the supercharged 5-spd if you do get one.
All the others are very underpowered.

get a Pathfinder/QX4 with the VQ35 instead, the VG33 is underpowered and has more problems.

i got an 02 ka24de powered xterra. engine too small for the weight, gear ratio sucks. I have towed my 240 from LA to SD without any problems, just a slow ride.
