so apparently the theory is that an underwater earthquake rattled these squid and caused them to wash up on la jolla shores in san diego.

could this be a foreshadowing of the 2nd coming of el nino?

discuss...

thank you for enlightening me. i seriously thought that it was some kind of freak occurence in the ocean currents.

i know now also thanks to this: El NiÃ±o-Southern Oscillation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

however, i've read somewhere that it can get much worse the next time it comes. i'll have to google for that article. can't recall what it was named.

I hope there is an El Nino this season. That'll mean the deep sea fishing will be that much better. Damn I gotta get out on that boat already.
