Ok wats the best game to watch in week 4? BAL vs. NE or NO vs. NYJ? I'm going to go with NO vs NYJ because it's the biggest test of the season so far for both teams and might even be the biggest tests of the entire season. We are going to see both teams true colors on both sides of the ball. if the Jets can get 3+ TO's im saying 27-23 Jets but if they can't get the TO's then i predict 31-20 NO. and im taking BAL 34-19.

damn is everyone still sleeping on the Niners huh?
or is it just that the rams are that little of a threat?

im looking forward to chicago against SF in a couple weeks, since neither of their offenses can do shit, it should be a good game for us def fans.

I'll give the Jets D some credit, they're decent, but that's it IMO. Given the right game plan they can be beat. Hopefully other teams exploit their D and wear them down

Glad to see the Dolphins shove those 413 total yards right down the Gullet of Ryan.

Talking

Ok so a rundown of the 4 teams I root for every year...

Pats-need to get their offensive shit together fucking posthaste. The botched throws to moss and welker are unexcusable.

Buccaneers-.........gee how about not firing most of the fucking staff next time you don't make into the playoffs? Drop leftwich and bring back garcia to start with, and fuck me I dunno wherelse to start as there are waaaaay too many issues. How about bringing in guys who can actually run the tampa 2 defense again?

Bengals- ARE 4-1!! WOOT! However the games are too close. Way too close, they need to bump up the agressiveness a bit.

Saints-......nothing really to criticize here. I <3 Drew Brees.

I need more NFL channels. I didn't get to watch the Vikings game or the Dolphins or the Chargers. Fail.

niners fml

at least they actually got positive yards and touchdowns today.
Thats more than can be said about the first 4 weeks. But now bombing to the falcons and dropping this one to the texans.
at least Crabtree did his part and Smith doesnt look like absolute shit anymore. I guess it was high hopes to think that the D would support them all season but damn they could have at least showed up today.

Warner is sucking big time. He threw something like what, 5 picks?

The Niners defense is really stepping up. Lookit those awesome sacks on Peyton. Too bad they're so inconsistent. Alex Smith is really proving to be their go to guy.

Loving the Chargers right now. Glad to see Merriman get his first sack, and to see LT playing more consistently.

Sorry Mel, but the Packers fans have no class booing Favre. He did some really amazing things for that franchise over 16 years. He deserved a bit more respect than that. Outstanding performance by the Vikings.

Tonight's game was highly entertaining. I loved the last few mins of the 4th. The Saints gotta earn that 7-0 record after all.

Surprise there is no bump in this thread about Pats. vs. Colts

So far I think it was the best game to watch this season.

Belichick made the worse coaching decision so far this season.

That wasnt a bad decision I dont know why people keep saying that.
He called a play that has worked for him and Brady a million times. They just didnt execute and Manning did.
Simple as that.
It was an awesome game tho btw.

I boo'd him too.

Here's the thing. In my eyes(and most other Packer fans) he's a traitor. It's like finding out your fiance is leaving you for some douche bag you hate. AND then she tells you his sex is better then yours (he actually came out and said the Vikings are the best team he's ever played with. So fuck him). He said for years he'd never go anywhere else. He then ran us fans through the ringer. TWICE. Then he does the worst thing possible and goes to our biggest rival. He is now the enemy. Yes I still have mad respect for him and shed many a tear while watching him play for us, but I'm a Packer fan before I'm a Favre fan. When he retires, as a Packer, which he will, I will then show respect to him again. But right now, I have to support MY team, not a player on our most hated rivals team.

Maybe people in other parts of the country see it as having no class, but unless you live in WI and are a part of the Football culture in this state then we wouldn't expect you to understand.

Nothing personal.

We've moved on...and our new BF's name is Rodgers.

Word. I guess I'd feel the same way. Didn't the Packers management choose to let Favre go though, and not the other way around?

Ok, so here's the real deal. This is how it went down. Our GM, Ted Thompson, is a total douche. His first year as GM he drafts Rodgers. Obviously at some point to replace Favre. Which is a smart move because we all knew at some point he was going to retire.

Well Favre and TT never got along. There's some real bad blood there. Favre was basically getting fed up with it and it was kinda pushing him towards retiring sooner rather then later. Whether he was ready or not.

The final straw came when we had a chance to sign Moss. Favre wanted him REAL bad obviously because Moss is the shit. Turns out Favre and Moss have the same agent and he told Favre that Moss would sign with us if we went after him. Well TT slept on the deal and you know what happened with Moss.

Favre was PISSED and it basically sped up the process of him retiring.

So he retires. Cries in front of the camera. Fans all over WI balling. Big big drama llama. BUT he really wanted to stick it to TT. So he says he wants to come back like 2 weeks before the season starts and TT says "sorry we've moved on to Rodgers". I do agree with TT on that because you've been preparing the team to play a certain way all camp.

So Favre and the Vikings coach (Brad Childress ) are all buddy buddy, but TT says there's no way he's gonna let Favre play for anyone in our division. I TOTALLY 100% agree with that. So Favre's plan is to go somewhere else (Jets) for a year and then the Packers have no more control over him. He goes to the Jets and then retires AGAIN. The Jets release him (it was his plan to make sure they didn't want to keep him around which was proven by how much of a dick he was while he was there), and BAM goes RIGHT to the fuckin enemy to stick it to TT.

Ultimately it was a shit ton of drama just so he could stick it to TT. In the process he pissed off damn near an entire state which just two years prior thought of him as second only to Jesus. We all got tired of it. And then he basically ripped our balls off and stomped on'em.

Yeah, you'd be pissed to.

So there you have it.

I agree and disagree with both sides on how things played out. But the bottom line is he's not on our team anymore and we feel betrayed. Hence the booing.

Nice summary exitspeed. All makes sense now to why he joined the Vikings. Either way, I think it was a bad move on Farve's part if it was just to get TT mad. For some reason I thought TT wanted to trade Farve...which sparked the "retirement".

+1 to gaelic for Genovese
If I was a mod i would just translate all his posts to gaelic for the fuck of it LOL.

Oh and your welcome to packers fans for Rodgers. Niners fans are still kicking themselves and each other for York Sr taking smith over Rodgers.

but whatever Nate Davis will pull through next year.
