Look if you have a car, and would like to travel the top half of the USA with little to NO MONEY, I'll give you a general outline on how to get it done.
(And this isn't some bullshit idea of mine, this is a general outline of all the shit I've personally done in order to travel across the country to clean myself up.)
ON this trip I've learned a fuck-load about life, and people and how they're normally too consumed with themselves or their jobs to give a fuck what you're up to.

What do you need when traveling?

Gas: Simple Pump-Runs Are usually called in if caught right away. However I managed to pump and run from MONTANA TO OHIO without ever being pulled over. You see, most of the northern states are all Pump THEN Pay. filling up and speeding away as fast as possible seemed the right way to go at first, but I did something we call "thinking"
Use your heads. Bring a plastic card with you, preferably a debit card or old credit card you dont need. Swipe the fucker, even if on the wrong side.
What this does is, if and when a gas station clerk decides to call you in, they will see you TRIED to pay, you made an attempt to at least look like you wanted to pay. This will make the cops really give to fucks about your little gas theft.
Maybe I was just lucky, but i never once was pulled over due to stealing gas at the pump. If they have video cameras youre also pretty much good to go, you look like you made an attempt to pay.


Food: Easiest of all. Less nerve racking than gas by far.
Pull through your favorite (or all/any) chain fast food and demand they give you one of the 2 double cheeseburgers they forgot when you ordered your fries burgers and pop. Again this isnt rocket science, dont do some meal nobodys ordered in months. The most common mcorder is 2 - 1 dollar burgers, med fried and small pop.

Ive never had an issue or argument, except when i went to some podunk fast food restaraunt which hadnt had any customers in 2 hours.

Sick of fast food? Want free good breakfast?
Find a Big Nice hotel, wake up before 9 or 8 or whatever their hours for it are and take advantage of their continental/complimentary breakfast. Ive had some killer waffles and even sausage on occasion.


Money: MART-WAL, MART-WAL,MART-WAL.
Steal bunch of those little rings. Sell at Nail Salons/Beauty parlors for cheap. women love new cheap rings with their new nails. Watches, fun to steal and was very addictive for me. I took one of every brand ever made throughut the trip, and I must say, them little fuckers are fun to steal. Bring a lighter, go to the family restroom as to not be bothered. take your time and dont be too loud, throw plastic remainders in garbage.

Find a place that buys used or new DVD's and use your brain. I'm not going to give you shoplifting techniques (im just ballsy and smarter than you) but I will give you some heads ups. If you by some fuckoff chance beep at the door. Simply act cool, let them wand you and walk away. LISTEN. even when the wands have gone off, theyve STILL just shrugged their shoulders and let me leave. Ive never been detained.
I (for reasons of personal greed and gain) am not going to explain how I've walked out with Laptops on numerous occasions.
I might add that when this was pulled off it was during VERY BUSY shopping days.
Hardware stores that have expensive tools were a favorite of mine for a while. Find yourself a Midwest hardware store that doesnt have beepers at their garden section. Wait til busy shopping day, load up 2000$ worth of tools and walk out. GO to pawn shop. Have your story ready on why you cant just return to store, also know what price it cost when you bought it, and act pissed store wouldnt take it back without receipt.
This was our most profitable endeavor during our "road trip" but probably also the riskiest. Again we were never caught, although they SHUT DOWN the entire garden centers of some of the stores we visited.
Petsmart: Steal small but expensive 40 dollar item and have partner return after youve left store.
Take your gift card and sell it half price to random customers. everybody loves half off giftcards.

Need a shower/bath?
Hotel/motel swimming pools/hot tubs.
Chlorine will clean ya off.

Want to have some fun?
Go bowling, Don't pay. Sneak into a movie. Sneak into amusement/water park.
