Well i work at a Mazda dealership here in Louisville, KY. The economy hasnt been very kind to us around here,barely any customers rolling in these days and those that do dont do much either. For those who know what flat rate is i think u know what i mean by this. The economy has more or less crippled dealerships around here it seems and now we were just hit by a rediculous snow storm so now zero cars came in yesterday and we were closed today. Once again hooray for flat rate

Sorry just kinda venting here but how is everyone else being affected by the economy as of late. I doubt im the only one hurting here. Something has just gotta give, anyone have any thoughts on Obama's "Stimulus" package that has been on the news as of late?

i have no job... a part time small job wont be enough, it would more than likely be gas..

but dealerships everywhere are hurting dude.

I got fired from firestone.

Now i'm getting a job at medimmune working with their computer tapes.

might not make as much as i did at firestone when it was busy, but definitely more than my friends who still work there.

lol yeah that is going to save the day. Do you remember Bush's stimulus package? Everyone spent that in less then a week, and look at all the stimulus that did. lol

True story, my buddy sold his house for $480,000 four years ago. The couple that bought it foreclosed and the bank just sold it last week for $175,000.

Yeah a lot of people, banks, and business' are fucked. These band aid stimulus packages are not going to do anything, but hide the ugly decaying wound, and once that band aid falls off it will be 10x worst.

I personally can't wait and hope the entire world economy collapses, people go mad and we live in a survival of the fittest "mad max" era.

Every day will be an adventure. Think about it.

the roads were ice today here in Reading, PA.I work full-time at advance auto parts but we've been hurting alittle so our DM makes our ours based on last years sales. So I got a call from my boss saying there's no need to come in, they didn't have any customers at all. 0 sales. I just talked to him alittle ago and he said he had 6 customers all day and they bought wipers and some de-icer fluid. no commercial accounts called either. so the garages are hurting today, too. but hey! my 240SX looks beautiful either way. and my friend likes to shout "Maxima drifting" while speeding through the streets. haha!

Honestly it'd be the difference between doing tedious stuff myself and hiring cheap labor from the home depot parking lot... I need some trenches dug and stuff
