It's been in development hell forever. I doubt it'll be made anytime soon. Ever for that matter.

Even there was a Halo movie, Master Chief would probably be a supporting character. The faceless, don't talk too much, just kill or be be killed formula works in the game but it would make the movie a bit boring. They'd probably focus on the other "more human" characters around him.

I don't really care if they make a movie or not. The games were satisfying enough. If they do make one, cool. I could see them doing a prequel to Combat Evolved using the Fall of Reach storyline but that probably won't happen.

Microsoft has re-slated the movie in with their upcoming production list.

According to Bungie and Microsoft it is in production and has not been cancelled...

Peter Jackson is producing it, and unfortunately Uwe Boll (the guy who made that god awfull bloodrayne movie) is supposed to be directing it.

It would be just like doom. Lame movie with hardly anything to do with the Game's plot. Bad actors, and only the last ten minutes would have master chief. all the rest would be like a prequel on how he becomes master chief. and i bet there would hardly be any covenant in it.

LOL. Omg hell yeah. I dont think there was any 8-14 y/o kid dissin that movie when it came out. If you was 15 - 20 y/o when it came out then thats a dif story cuz i think i was like 6 and thought it was the best shitz i eva saw.
