I've been catching up to Initial D manga in lieu of the recent new anime announcement.

Hyouka is probably the best new anime series right now imo.

Sword Art Online is really cool but the story/plot appears to be compacted/shortened to fit the 12 eps season mold. Hope I'm wrong.

The ecchi/soft porn shows have gotten a lot better recently but still just fan-service.

Same, super excited its coming back again as its one of my favorite shows.

A little sad that sket dance is ending as I grew to like that show, but hopefully they're doing what gintama did and stop it until new material comes out. Which is actually what all shows should do so there's not a mountain of boring filler.

So things will look familiar until you find out the Sanusuke already knows Futae No Kiwami the first time you meet hime and ppl you didn't meet until later in the series previously are showing up super quick. The creator must have some really interesting stuff in mind for this new story if he's just blowing through all these previously awesome parts.

But on the topic of relaunches... omg can't wait for the new Initial D...
