I bought the magazine.
I don't know why.
I was reading an article, and every paragraph had at least two references to "hyphy."

As a result, I'm never buying another issue.

300 hp in a honda means like 198 lbs. of tourqe. lol what turds , i hate hondas. f20c is a good replacement for like a 4age which , if im not mistaken , is also lacking in the tourqe dept. not a sr or ka

NA 300hp f20c also costs way too fucking much and is totally not worth it when you can get similar power in an sr or ka for much much much less.

Still is faster... People like you don't get that most VTEC engine have a totally flat torque curve. So 154lbs of torque is 150+ lbs from 1000 to 9000 rpm.

Who cares about peak torque...? On a road course (track), when you stay in your powerband, low end torque is totally irrelevant.

Oh yeah, and 300hp n/a on a F20C is nearly impossible unless you dish out tons of money. The engine is almost maxed out from factory.

Nothing but love here, I own an 02'. I just don't think its worth the cost for the swap

That I agree.. Added to the fast that it was turboed... But who cares, I just hate the "torque" bashing... The F20C is of the best 4cyl in the world... (N/A that is)

for the record , ive owned a 99 gsr integra. i hated it and wasnt very impressed after i was told how great they are by the honda kids. v tech smeetech

For the record, I owned a SR'd 240sx... and it was slower at 7 psi on the track, on a drag strip, at everything. And it did horrible gas mileage too...

I agree, hondas are retared. The only imports I like are Nissans and subarus....the rest are pointless.

For real. Try getting 300 horses, N/A, out of *ANY* 2.0L engine (or 2.2L for that matter, if you want to try it with an AP2). There's not a damn thing that's "easy" about that, and it certainly wouldn't be cheap.

For what it's worth, my friend used to have an S2K and he took me for a ride in it a few times. I never drove it, but I didn't have to; I had more fun riding shotgun than I ever have in any other car. Who cares if you have to rev it to make power, and if it's actually not quite as fast as X car with Y mods? With the top down and the thing screaming up to 9K on every shift, it sure as hell feels like you hit 100 pretty quick

Such fun cars; if I can afford it in the next couple of years, it'll probably be my next purchase, whether it's slower than my S13 or not =P

I stopped reading super street due to their constant KA bashing. Seems the writing staff there is way too JDM to ever think about turboing a KA.

Anyways, I am just playing devil's advocate for all you Honda bashers... People need to understand that making power N/A = revving it up. And N/A, Torque is limited to whatever displacement can offer.

Let's not start talking about SR20 (N/A) torque. that is scary, even for the SR20VE.

ive owned a 194 whp b18c powered hatch and a sr powered 240sx. civic was faster in a straight line by far, but it wasnt as fun to drive. having all that torque helps alot and makes things more interesting. but dont bash honda's they are the reason good parts are available for our cars.

A stock SR usually dynos at 180whp.

Catback + FMIC + MBC + tuning = bye bye civic

my sr had 3 in full exhaust front mount an intake and it ran 14.0. the motor in my civic ran 12.7 in a 4 door integra. hmm wonder what would win
