I have searched and searched and searched and all of the info I have found is only partially helpful. I need some definite answers.
First off, I have a heavily modded 1990 240sx. Type X SR20DET, carbon doors, carbon almost everything body panel wise.
My questions are as follows:
1.) If I can't find a person to assist me with a Smog, can I just leave my plates CA?
2.) If so, how long can I leave my plates CA without any hassle?

I know they don't do hood pops and don't write exhaust tickets, I'm just curious as to changing my registration and plates to Oregon.
