It'll be called the Infiniti G-something here in the US, but the 2012 Nissan Skyline Coupe will debut late in 2011. Rumor has it there'll be a hybrid powertrain underhood. Hopefully it doesn't closely resemble these drawings. [4WheelsNews]

yea its just the g37 again basically. but i doubt itll have 450 hp thats gtr territory.

I hope that C-Pillar "kink" doesn't become any more popular. WTF is it doing on the Essence and Lexus LF-A? It had to be thought up by Chris Bangle... :/

more like a subtle evolution of the existing theme.

just wish they didn't have to make it any bigger.
I also see no need for any more power.
330 is already more than sufficient imo.
hybrid power-plant is just gimmicky.

makes sense that they would make this more of a tourer,
while keeping the Z as the default sports car alternative.
it would reduce the chance of cannibalizing sales between the 2 models.

not my type of car anyways (still prefer the 328/335/135),
but it's commendable nonetheless.

Hyundai made the Genesis to look like the G35, but now Nissan is trying to make the G35 look like the fucking Tiburon...fucking fail...

Keep in mind guys that's just another rendering by some publication.

The Essense is the closest thing we have to see the next G. The Essense is a GORGEOUS car. If the next G looks like that it will be an even better seller.

i believe theyre all trying to flow the car around the window scheme, a sports car with that backing to it to really make it look likes its driven to go forward, i dunno, ive seen it in many cars, even pontiacs with the same side window design and black housing headlights effect. its all pretty gay, i think they all tried to pawn off the S15. either way, everything looks gay nowadays to me, ill stock to 90's cars.
