Have you ever wanted your car to sound turbocharged without having any of the functional benefits? Yeah, neither have we, but apparently someone thought it was a good idea to make such a product. Knowing some of the things people put on their cars, we have no doubt it will find a few buyers too. Named the Turbo Whistler, this aluminum device clamps onto your tailpipe (no welding or drilling necessary!) and emits a sound similar (a term used very loosely in this case) to the whistle of a turbocharger under throttle. The company's web site claims that it will trick all of your friends into thinking your vehicle is benefiting from forced induction. Our guess is that if they don't know the difference, they will also believe you when you tell them your Honda Accord is also a "10-second car." I was behind a car with one of these the other day. It was annoying as hell at the light. Upon acceleration I had to roll up my windows it was so piercing. It's way to high pitched to be turbine. I would get a headache after abut 5mins.

lol some chump had this on his honda!!! lol i was driving home and some a**hole kid drives right next to me same speed but at a ridiculous high rpm and i was like "not today...please not today" then in typical honda fashion he does a ricer fly by and im like" WTF is that sound...you can tell honda with vtec but im like ...TURBO.." i was like "oh this should be fun"....so i let him by i drive right behind me the wifey the says "babe ..what is that...right there on his exhaust...??"...im looking around and its this PIECE OF SH*T lol i speed up right next to him and i say "so hows that turbo doing for you.." down shift and let him hear my 3 in GREDDY TI-C CATBACK with the thumbs down out my window hahahahahaha fake a** cats now-a-days ..YOUR ONLY MAKING YOURSELVES LOOK DUMB..

major lame, i wonder if you can make that sound any less like a turbo whine. i think gluing some Nerf-Whistles to the inside of your exhuast and underneath your car would work better than that. (someone please do this)

now that i think about it, if you want crap obstructing your exhuast, just PUT a whole turbochargers on the end of your muff, that will do the trick! (maybe with some good placement it could look neat too!)

i would have to agree... i think it would make a better cover for ur turbo than to actually make people think u have one... if its as loud as people say it is, it should drown out the bov, so why people are laughing at u... inside ur really laughing at them lol
