Trader Rating: (0) Feedback Score: 0 reviews | SLC- Utah area SMOG questions Hey guys thinking about moving out thee in a number of months from Minnesota, land of no emissions testing. I have a 95 240sx with a rb25det swap, fully gutted and caged. Concerned with what I keep reading about smog tests, will I be able to drive my car on the roads there if I move? I know it has been asked in some ways but I need a current practical answer to my dilemma, must I sell the car to move!? It is a street/track car |

| Leaky Injector ![]() | What city are you moving to? Safety is the same throughout the state, although emissions is not required in some counties. Cage is fine, gutted is fine. Horn Lights Cat Brakes Seatbelt uhhhhhh good tires, windshield, other standard safety stuff? obvious stuff. Emissions is gonna be your problem if you're moving into the city. There are ways around it, you could register your car in a non-emissions county (like I did) and just have to pass safety, problem is you will need an address. Search for driftutah on facebook and ask someone if you can use theirs, unless, like I said already, you won't be moving into the city. Good luck! |

Trader Rating: (0) Feedback Score: 0 reviews | That actually helps a lot!!! Yeah I will have harness' in the vehicle, do they count those as seatbelts?? I will have everything else listed, well sorta, but no windshield sprayer/washer tank. Wipers yes! Hmm, interesting work around, I wonder if I could keep it registered in Minnesota some how but drive it out there..... curious. Most likely would be living in or immediately around the area |

| Leaky Injector ![]() | Yes harness is fine. Wiper reservoir is required. It depends on where you go, also. I just went to some ghetto looking shop and all they did was pull it up into the bay and printed out the paperwork. There are several people who either do emissions testing or 'know people' that could help you out, for a fee of course. |
