Zilvia member Blu808 wins 2011 Pro Formula Drift license at nationals
Long time drifter Luke Lonberger and the Blu808 team took a trip down to Irwindale Speedway this past weekend to represent the northern California region in the Formula Drift Pro Am Nationals. He was also joined by fellow Blu808 teamate Fabian Fernandez. Lonberger being the highest placing finisher of the 2010 Thunderdrift series had some amazing runs during all the practice sessions and throughout the entire event. Being one of the most consistent drivers during all 3 days of the race, and putting down some insane high line runs on the banking of Irwindale Speedway earned him a 2011 Formula D full Professional license.





Fellow teammate and rookie drifter Fabian Fernandez received the wildcard invite to nationals this year. He put on a great show, and even managed to qualify 4th overall. His consistent driving, and close tandem battles earned him a top 4 finish at the event, and a 2011 Formula D full Professional License.



Blu808 will now have 3 cars running in the 2011 Formula Drift Pro series. More news will be posted shortly.

Nah Barry. Drew was always hanging out in my garage, and I have been competing in drifting events since 2004. Even ran some FD events in 05.
