Our first thread!
Hey, we are Zip Tie Clothing. I don't want to copy and paste from my newbie post, so I'll just start fresh here. I'm Adam. I have had my share of drift cars, starting with Toyota's but I have been in my S13 for 5 years now and don't plan on changing that.

I've been doing this shirt thing for a few years but never developed an actual product line as intensive as ZipTie. We are really having fun with this, creating new designs, finding motors too snap pic of, traveling to events to hang out with awesome people, and, even the laborus task of silk screening our own shirts is just rad. We take a different appreoach to shirt design and concept. A little more...classy?
So really, I (we) just hope you guys (and girl, Larisa that's you) enjoi this as much as we do.

So round 1 started here at home while ago. Our shirts are carried by two of the largest performance shops in St.Louis; Adrenaline Motorsports (who advertises here) and Speed and Sound. We are now on our third thirt, but I'll start at the beginning.

This is actually a 1j 2j hybrid built by Speed and Sound. I know it's not a Nissan but it was the first motor that was available to us to shoot. 4.5oz ringspun Anvil fashion fit t (great summer shirt) woven damask label tags.

Ok, again, I know it's not a Nissan motor, but it's pretty bad ass. Pulled this out of the ae86 just to make a kick ass shirt. Alternative Apparel 5.0oz fitted shirt. Silkscreened label on the shoulders.

That's it for now. on the way: F20C, 13B and hmmmm maybe an RB26!

ps - ZipTie (well, just me...erm I) will be in Wisconsin for the US AIR Drift Day 26 this coming weekend. I won't have a booth or anything, but I'll be in the pits some where. Come say hai.

btw the SR20 shirt has an awesome Angle, i love the way it fills up the middle of the shirt in a upside down pyramid design. it really does look like the "heart" of a drift car~ great work
i want one, but i dun have jdm power in my car....
but if u need any logo or artwork done, dun hesitate to ask

Like I said, (if it makes you feel better) the 1JZ is a hybrid. Its a 2JZ bottom end and 1J head...yeah so booya! lol

I'll see what I can dig up.

All the motors I use I have to have on hand. Keeps it original. Any one can Google search some motors, where as I grab the EOS MkII and go FIND some worthy motors.

Thanks for the props guys. Too bad rep is gone?

+1 for the KA engine shirt, i think an above angle of that oldschool-azz crank-cover would look cool on one of ur shirts. id definently get it. lol and throw the words "Hardbody" on it sumwhere since ive heard that the Nissan Hardbody truck had the KA before they put it in the american silvia... (so ive heard)
