Has anyone in NJ successfully taken there SR powered cars through a DMV inspection facility. My SR20 powered s13 240 has just has a catco cat, no EGR, no AIV, no carbon canister, and a 3" megan exhaust. I think I will fail for high NOX. Is it worth giving it a shot? I have failed in the past for having an aftermarket exhaust on my WRX.

i failed for a hole in my stock exhaust so i got a test pipe and a buddy club spec2 (straight pipe no muffler) and i passed?

Stock sr20 smic, 3" dp, catback, with catco, they failed me for bullshit like exhaust too loud, but emissions was good.

no it wont pass. unless you pay someone like i did. i have a ka-t though but still money talks.
