Mid-Atlantic Track Days (2009) – MVP Track Time

Good Day All:

Just a quick note on MVP Track Time’s 2009 Mid-Atlantic (some Southeast and Northeast too for good measure) track days. All are welcome. We have these events listed below:

September 7-8: Virginia International Raceway ”Labor Day Speed Fix”

October 31 – November 1: Watkins Glen ”Halloween Fright FAST!”

November 21 – 22: Road Atlanta “Flyin Turkey Trot”

Of course you can run at any of our track events. For more details, registration (both on-line and mail-in registration) and the balance of the 2009 schedule, visit us at www.MVPTrackTime.com.

Good Morning All:

I've received a number of e-mails and calls asking about pricing for MVP Track Time's (www.MVPTrackTime.com) track events. They are on our web site as well, so no one is "surprised”. The 2009 dates and entry fees are listed below.

April 18-19: Putnam Park - SOLD OUT!

June 1: Autobahn Country Club (FULL 3.56 mile track) - SOLD OUT!

August 3: Autobahn Country Club II (FULL 3.56 mile track) - SOLD OUT!

September 5-6: Blackhawk Farms
$320-Weekend
$235-Single Day

September 7-8: Virginia International Raceway
$350-Weeeknd
$250-Single Day

October 31 – November 1: Watkins Glen
$350-Weekend
$250-Single Day

November 21-22: Road Atlanta

Got a call earlier this week from a potential attendee asking "How many run groups and how many sessions each day?". We run three (Novice, Intermediate and Advanced) run groups with six, 20-minute run sessions scheduled for each run group per day.

How does this compair to NASA? I recently attended the VIR NASA HPDE1 event. I was extremely impressed with the organization of the event overall and experience level of the instructors. The website does not say much about the instructors. Can you reply about information regarding the instructors, their training and experience?

I'm confident you'll find MVP Track Time's (www.MVPTrackTime.com) organization of an event is spot on as we run a tight ship. We have qualified (SCCA, PCA, BMWCCA, NASA, ACNA) instructors available for the Novice run group drivers. The largest difference is the amount of actual on-track time we schedule for a track event. We schedule six, 20-minute run sessions for each of three (Novice, Intermediate and Advanced) run groups each day.
