I still have the lifters, didn't install them in yet because the problem was something else, ended up being a cracked Tomei Manifold. No biggie, i'll be keeping these lifters just incase something goes wrong or for my 2nd motor build

I'm having bad luck with my VTC's I replaced one from a used car, and it eventually started to make that diesel sound at idle. Anyways, now i've order'd a brand new VTC sprocket and a new VTC Solenoid, hopefully that will resolve my problem. After all this and I get that VTC rattle back i'm going to ditch the VTC and go with HKS adjustable cam gears.

Hey Spanishricer,

I was wondering if you were still running the VTC on your setup, or did you disable it and running adjustable cam gears. I also have HKS step2 cams installed, but my VTC just took a dump, rattles like a mad whore. I've order'd a new VTC from japan, and I don't know how long it will last. Anyways, give me a shout back thanks.

hey whats up. your car looks sikk man. those are kouki sideskirts you have on right? thats what i got right now with the navan bumper (not on the car yet). im getting ready to drop off my car for paint so i was looking for navan sideskirts until i saw your car. it looks nice like that. i didnt like my kouki skirts but it somehow works with it on your car. pretty cool setup you got there. just wanted to say whats up. i guess my car will be the black version of yours.
