This is a good kit guys, ballasts made in japan with quality harnesses and mounting. Just thought I would throw in my .2 cents. I have this kit myself and am pretty happy with it.

it was those off-brand egay ones for like 60 bucks, idk that might be why but i wanted to see if anyone else had this same problem w/ these other kits. It really pissed me off when they just turned off while i was driving...driving with ONLY fog lights sucks!

your fog lights are supposed to turn off when you turn your hi-beams on, it's just part of the factory wiring diagram.

i just wired it in-line with the headlights like the instructions. The problem was the ballast's turning off after the voltage drop when turning on my high beams, so i wired a capacitor in-line with the HID's to stabilize the voltage drop which helped A LOT but once in a great while they would screw up on me.

The great thing about our hi/lo HID kits is that the high beam uses the same bulb as the low beam. That way there is no voltage drops. The high beam is activated by a solenoid pushing the bulb further out from the low beam position. It works very well. No problems with it so far! Let me know if you want to order a kit.

Oh, good point. I forgot about that. I was thinking H4 hi/lo kits. All you need to do is order an H1 HID kit for your low beams and if your wiring is correct the low beam HID's will stay on when you turn your high beams on. I have a kouki as well and my low beams do not turn off when I turn my high beams on.

The only kits that we are selling right now are the iBrite kits. If you order through our website, we will be sending an iBrite kit. If you want, you can also send payment to our paypal address and those orders will be handled by me personally. PM me if that's what you want to do.

i received the h4 hi/low kit, but i have a question about installation. it has only one plug, so is it doesn't matter what side i plug it into? because the kit don't have any install instruction at all. thanks

there are vague instructions with the kit.. but if you look at the harness its relatively easy to figure out..

the h4 hi/lo kit is different that regular single beam kits because of that controller to of course change it form low beam to high beam.

the kit just uses the plug where you normally plug in the light bulbs as just as "signal" to turn on so it doesnt matter which side you plug it into. I would suggest you plug it into the passenger side since the battery is right there and the controller harness is relatively short.

just wondering.. the labels on your HID bulbs.. are they checked with 4300k?

Thanks. This is also what I would suggest; is to plug the harness into the side closest to the battery. It doesn't matter which side you plug it in to and the other side of the harness is not used.

^^Sent you a PM^^
